Ride #9 – Hockney Trail:A Cyclist’s Route (107 miles, varied loops)
This route falls in to two obvious parts if the full route is a little too much: out east to the coast via Kilham, and west through the Yorkshire Wolds AONB candidate area.
This ride showcases the variety of scenery that the Yorkshire Wolds has to offer on mostly quiet country roads and is a comprehensive route visiting almost all of the locations that Hockney chose to paint. You can view both the Garmin activity and Strava segment for this ride.
The Hockney Trail is covered in greater detail in the separate post ‘Hockney Trail – A Cyclist’s Route‘.
