Ride #7 – Sykes Churches Trail – A Cyclist’s Route (103 miles, varied loops)
In summary, this is a challenging ride that takes in fourteen churches on the East Yorkshire Historic Churches north and south Sykes Churches Trail.
Although the theme of the ride is based on the places of worship built, rebuilt or refurbished by Tatton Sykes I and Tatton Sykes II, the ride has been devised without compromising the choice of route for the road and touring cyclist throughout and beyond the Yorkshire Wolds.
This is a very much enlarged version of ride #2 Snainton, and builds on that ride’s theme of the Sykes Churches that are covered in greater detail in the separate post ‘Sykes Churches Trail – A Cyclist’s Route‘.
